Ft. Worth

On Saturday we went to Ft. Worth to spend the day/night and just relax. We had a great time. We started out at NM Cafe at Northpark. I had the signature Orange Souffle w/Chicken Salad. So yummy! Oh yes, and a popover. Then we headed to Ft. Worth. We stayed at the Worthington. Great room and great location--Sundance Square. We checked in and relaxed and watched a movie. Then Kate and I headed out for shopping, strolling and dinner. There are so many neat little shops in Sundance Square.

We had dinner at Daddy Jack's. Slap-your-momma-good seafood. We had sauteed Tilapia with Scallion Creme Sauce, baked potato and fresh veggies. I have to pause here and tell you how blessed I am. I am totally and unequivically in love with Kate. She is so sweet and well-natured. I truly enjoy her company and her being a part of my life. Thank you God for the gift her being her parent.

After dinner we went back to the room and snuggled in. We watched T.V., laughed and talked. We woke up and ordered room service for breakfast. This is Kate's absolute favorite thing to do in hotels. She loves her some room service.
