This Place Has Gone to the Animals

Saturday was gorgeous. The sun was out and the temperature was mild. My friend, Vidal, and I took his girls and Kate to the Fort Worth Zoo. We all had a great time. The animals were out and it wasn't too crowded. After the zoo we went over to Fred's Texas Cafe for dinner and some live music. The band was really good--their website says they are "pure raw hillbilly". They were called Fish Fry Bingo. They did a rendition of the Beastie Boys Paul Revere that was amazing! After a yummy burger and some good tunes, we headed over to Paciugo for gelato. It was a great day!
