Italy - Day Eight

Our first full day in Rome. We purchased a hop-on, hop-off bus ticket. It is the best deal in Rome. Unlike Florence, you can't walk the whole city. The bus is worth the money. It makes stops at all the important places and runs every 30 minutes. It is a double-decker bus equipped with disposable headsets (included in the cost) and broadcasted in multiple languages. Good deal.

We hopped on the bus and toured most of the city and got off at St. Peter's Square. So majestic. I bought a couple of post cards at a little shop and mailed them to from the Vatican City post office. It was very crazy with lots of people. St. Peter's is free to tour but they only allow so many people in at a time. The line to get in was over 2.5 hours long. We didn't go in.

We hopped back on the bus and got off at the Piazza Navona.
