Today Kate and I took the Metro all by ourselves to Ford's Theatre and the Peterson House. We got the "full meal deal" tickets which included the museum tour, NP Ranger informational speech and a tour of the boarding house where Lincoln died. Did I ever tell you I LOVE THIS STUFF! I love history. It makes me smile and yearn to know more. Gosh, I wish I could time travel.After the tours we did a little souvenir shopping and stopped in at Zara (Kate's new favorite store) and H&M. We headed to Union Station and ate at Johnny Rockets. Kate loves this place because she lost a tooth in her hot dog here during one of our trips to DC years ago. Guess what she ate? A hot dog. That's my girl.
