Great Weekend

We were not able to leave town for the weekend because of my Maymester class. Kate originally had plans to go with a friend to Scarborough Fair but they plans fell through. In this post I mentioned Cita wanted to go to Neiman's downtown. We did, BUT we also ended up spending the night at the Adolphus Hotel. We have a tradition of staying at the Adolphus Thanksgiving eve. Last year we didn't so we are making it up. When we checked in the manager offered to upgrade us to a suite. We were excited! You see about 4 years ago we stayed at the Adolphus and had Thanksgiving dinner there. It was AWFUL. Seriously, how do you screw up turkey?! Anyway, they did and Cita threw a fit. They offered us a free night in the Queen Elizabeth Suite! It was amazing. Okay, back to the offer of the upgrade. We declined and checked into our junior suite. Which is very nice.

Well, as soon as we got up to the room Cita said, "We only live once. Call downstairs and get the upgrade." I did and we did. It was wonderful! The way I figure if you have to study all Memorial Day weekend do it in style! Here are some pics.
